UPCYCLING WITH STUDIO BAGRU BLOCKPRINTING

Blockprinting workshops with Studio Bagru, from Jaipur, India, with traditional Rajasthani wooden blocks and designs. The founder of Studio Bagru, Jeremy Fritzhand, will be presenting a short video of the life and craft of this small Rajasthan villlage, followed by a demonstration of the traditional craft of blockprinting. It will then be adapted to present day and you can transform your clothes into your new favorites with the hand carved blocks and a color story created for the season. The blocks are all carved in Bagru, India, both the traditional paisleys and blocks designed specially for the event. We will help you figure out how to make your clothes loved again (or maybe hide a spot ;-) with this gorgeous, heritage print technique. You can also create your own bandanas, napkins, tea towels and totes, all 100% cotton and made in India.
